MATH 1103 - Fundamental Mathematics


Required at the inception of the program of study by all students who do not show sufficient competency with fundamental arithmetic and algebra, as determined by placement examination. Topics include: arithmetic operations; algebraic expressions; linear equations in two variables; exponents and polynomials; Cartesian coordinates; equation of a straight line; and simultaneous linear equations. Students who take MATH 1103 will have the total number of credits required for graduation increased by 3 credits. 3 credits.
