MATH 4308 - Real Analysis Prerequisites: MATH 1121 , MATH 3303 . This course will provide students with a grounding in the study of real analysis. Topics include: sets and functions, Borel sets, Lebesgue measure, Lebesgue integral, Lᵖ spaces, Hölder's inequality, Minkowski's inequality, metric spaces, convergence in metric spaces, compact spaces, Bolzano-Weierstrass theorem, Banach spaces, Hilbert spaces, Bessel's inequality, Fourier series, Parseval's equality. 3 credits.
