MECH 4422 - Compressible Fluid Flow

Prerequisites: MECH 3305, MECH 3321, MECH 4404 or consent of the instructor. Compressible fluid flow with emphasis on one-dimensional ducted steady flows with heat transfer, frictional effects, shock waves, and combined effects. Introductory considerations of two- and three-dimensional flows. Applications to propulsive devices. Occasional demonstrations accompany the lectures. 3 credits.
