MUSC 2240 - Music Theory I

Prerequisite: a grade of C or higher in MUSC 1125 and MUSC 1126 or placement by the department. Fundamentals of music: Notation, physical and acoustical foundations; harmony and melody; modality, tonality, atonality; consonance and dissonance; tension; introductory composition; and ear training. 3 credits.
