PNTG 4422 - Special Painting Topics (Lyme Academy)

Prerequisite: PNTG 2265 or consent of the instructor. In this upper level studio course, students learn to determine and direct the course of their own painting ideas using technical, formal and intuitive methods and concepts. Subjects will include the figure as well as subject matter chosen by each student. The first portion of the six-hour course will be reserved for lectures and personal research while the second portion will be devoted to painting in the studio. 3 credits.
