MECH 4407 - Solar Energy

Prerequisite: EASC 2224. Co-requisite: MECH 4404. Introduction to the fundamentals of solar energy thermal processes including solar radiation, flat plate and focusing collectors, energy storage, hot water heating, cooling and auxiliary system components. Emphasis on the design and evaluation of systems as they pertain to commercial and residential buildings. 3 credits.
