DGAD 4410 - Practicum in Digital Art and Design

Prerequisite: consent of instructor. This course integrates experiential learning and deliberate practice in a semester-long immersion into a digital art and design studio course. It provides a supervised experience in a studio environment through direct participation in a classroom situation. For students who are interested in teaching in the future, the course offers the opportunity to experience the classroom from the other side of the spectrum. Designed to provide practical experience, each student will work closely with a faculty mentor teaching a digital art and design studio course and will be actively engaged in the development of activities and assignments.  3 credits.
