PSYC 2336 - Abnormal Psychology Prerequisite: PSYC 1111 or PSYC 1112 . This course explores the etiology, classification, symptom presentation, and diagnosis of psychological disorders/mental illness. It will draw on major theories in psychology to outline the various approaches to, and settings for, the treatment of individuals with mental illness. Issues surrounding historical and cultural context, stigma, and treatment efficacy will also be addressed. 3 credits.
