CSCI 1109 - Introduction to Computing

Prerequisite or co-requisite: MATH 1110 or higher. An introduction to a broad range of topics central to the computing majors: algorithms, constraints, best and worst cases, cryptography, regular expressions, finite state machines, security, and representation. Students will work in groups to solve and analyze mathematical puzzles, then submit reports detailing their solution processes. 3 credits.
