                  BIOL 3393 - Scientific Evaluation and Writing Prerequisites: BIOL 2253  and BIOL 2254 , or consent of the instructor if student is in a non-biology science major.    In this seminar-format course, students will develop their skills in critically reading, understanding, and evaluating primary research articles through student-led presentations and discussions, and will learn how to write scientific reviews and proposals, presenting their proposal for critical peer-evaluation. Active class participation is mandatory.  3 credits.
