EASC 2213 - Materials in Engineering Systems

Prerequisites: CHEM 1115, EASC 1112. Properties, behavior, and application of materials (solid, liquid, and gas) are studied and demonstrated, with emphasis on selection and use in engineering systems. Topics involving the mechanical and chemical properties and behavior of materials, such as imperfections, failure, corrosion, and phase stability will be covered. 3 credits.
