CIVL 3309 - Water Resources Engineering

Prerequisite: CIVL 3306. Prerequisite or co-requisite: MATH 2204. Study of principles of water resources engineering including surface and ground water hydrology. Design of water supply, flood control, and hydroelectric reservoirs. Hydraulics and design of water supply distribution and drainage collection systems including pump and turbine design. Principles of probability concepts in the design of hydraulic structures. General review of water and pollution control laws. 3 credits.
