ACCT 4595 - Accounting Audit Co-op

Prerequisites: junior status, ACCT 2220 , minimum major GPA 3.0. This is an immersive work-integrated experience in the area of audit and attest functions either with a public accounting firm or with a corporate partner. The full-time work experience will provide critical audit skills necessary to prepare the student for employment in the field. This 6-credit co-op requires a student to focus solely on the work experience for the first 9 weeks of the semester. Coursework approved by the Department Chair is permitted in the second mini-term. With an additional 3 credits of coursework in the second mini-term, the student can be verified for full-time status by the Registrar's Office. 6 credits.
