ACCT 4596 - Accounting Tax Co-op

Prerequisites: junior status, ACCT 2220, minimum major GPA 3.0. This is an immersive work-integrated experience in the area of tax preparation and accounting with a public accounting firm or corporate partner. The full-time work experience will provide critical tax preparation and analysis skills necessary to prepare the student for employment in the field. This 9-credit co-op requires a student to focus solely on the work experience for the first 12 weeks of the semester. The student can be verified for full-time status by the Registrar's Office. 9 credits.
