CIVL 1109 - Computer-Aided Drafting

Prerequisite: MATH 1110 or higher. This is an introductory course in computer-aided drafting. Students will learn the basic drafting skills with CAD software. This course covers commands, tools, multi-view drawing, geometric constructions, and dimensioning techniques, etc. in CAD software. Students will also explore the rules, terminology associated with drafting, editing, and display techniques to obtain information about drafting. 2 credits.
