INSE 4438 - Lean Six Sigma

Prerequisite: SYST 3347 or EASC 3345. This course provides students with knowledge and skills to apply lean six sigma for improving quality and reducing cost in manufacturing and service industries. The concepts and methods covered include, but are not limited to waste, process flow, value stream management, process benchmarking, DMAIC process, statistical process control, and basic experiment design techniques. 3 credits.
