INSE 3390 - Systems Engineering Concepts and Design Prerequisites: EASC 2232 , junior standing. The principles and practices of systems engineering that are used to guide the development of systems to meet stakeholder needs are covered. Concepts span the entire product lifecycle and include translating customer needs into useful requirements, requirements management, system architecture development and modeling; system test and evaluation, systems engineering management, decision analysis, risk management, and sustainment. Students will make extensive use of model-based systems engineering tools and will complete a semester project, applying the skills acquired in the course. 3 credits.
