NSEC 4405 - Practical Applications in Cyber Intelligence


This course will examine the application of intelligence methods concerning international and domestic cyber incidents in reference to national security and public safety. The course discussions will cover a multitude of intelligence gathering methods and application to cyber incidents. In addition to the identification and application of these threats, students will examine the difference between methods used in intelligence gathering and law enforcement regarding cyber related activity. Students will also examine specific landmark international cyber incidents to learn from the methods used and work to predict future methods of cyber intelligence methods.  3 credits.
