BIOL 1121 - General and Human Biology I with Laboratory

Co-requisite: BIOL 1123 - you must enroll in a section of BIOL 1123 before you can enroll in BIOL 1121. An introduction to the study of biology which integrates biological principles and human biology. Major topics covered are biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, genetics, anatomy and physiology, behavior, ecology, and evolution. The laboratory involves experimentation and demonstration of principles covered in lecture. BIOL 1121 is a prerequisite for BIOL 1122. This course is not intended for Biology majors. Laboratory fee; 4 credits.
