EASC 2200 - Entrepreneurial Mindset in STEM

Students will explore the various skills related to developing an entrepreneurial mindset, including curiosity, making connections, and creating value. Students will self-select, with instructor approval, from a series of entrepreneurial e-learning modules to supplement their academic studies with topics areas not integrated into their existing coursework. Students may choose to explore topics such as: applying systems thinking to complex problems, defining and protecting intellectual property, the cost of production and market conditions, and more. Students will conclude with an integrated project linking entrepreneurial mindset and industry-focused skills to the student's academic discipline. 1 credits.
