HLTH 2402 - Language Development and Acquisition

Prerequisites: HLTH 2400, Health Sciences major. An introduction to speech and language acquisition and development throughout the lifespan including comprehensive child language development. Topics include components of language, theories of language development, sequential acquisition of major components of language, cognitive bases for language, emerging literacy, and clinical application. 3 credits.
