INVS 6655 - United States Sports Corruption

Prerequisite or co-requisite: INVS 6640. This course builds upon the knowledge of international sports corruption issues to the widespread criminality in U.S. sports. Students will examine the issues affecting the NFL, NBA, NCAA, MLB, and other major sports - from animal cruelty, organized crime, racism, match-fixing, and sexual abuse - as well as the effects of the sports gambling market on American sports. 3 credits.
