FINC 6640 - Real Estate Analysis Prerequisite: FINC 6601 . A course on real estate financial and market analysis, and the impact it has on the real estate decision process. Concepts covered will include the application of cash flow analysis, risk, discount rates, capitalization rates, financing, leverage, investment value vs. market value, and taxation. The student will be exposed to economic base analysis, shift-share analysis, highest and best use, and the impact that market and cash flow analyses have on real property for commercial and residential real estate. 3 credits.
