MLSC 6641 - Clinical Practicum I

Prerequisite: matriculating student in the medical laboratory science program; co-requisites: MLSC 6631, MLSC 6651. This component of the medical laboratory science program prepares students for practice in a clinical laboratory. It involves a rotation in the clinical laboratory at an affiliated licensed clinical laboratory hospital and is designed to enhance the student's entry level competencies. During the rotation, the student will be exposed to the daily operations of the laboratory under the supervision of a certified experienced medical laboratory scientist. 2 credits.
