BIOL 2260 - Anatomy and Physiology II


Prerequisite: a grade of C- or better in BIOL 2259  OR a grade of C or better in BIOL 2253  along with enrollment in the Medical Laboratory Science degree (this condition will require a departmental override). Co-requisite: BIOL 2263  - you must enroll in a section of BIOL 2263 before you can enroll in BIOL 2260.  This course is a continuation of Anatomy & Physiology I, starting with a deeper dive into the endocrine system. Explorations of the cardiovascular, lymphatic, immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems follow. Normal anatomy and physiology are emphasized. The course focuses on how the systems work individually and together to maintain homeostasis.  3 credits.
