ENGL 3325 - Irish Literature

Prerequisite: ENGL 1112 or ENGL 1113 or consent of the department. A study of poetry, drama, and fiction from Ireland and the Irish Diaspora. Authors studied might include Swift, Yeats, Wilde, Synge, Joyce, Beckett, and Heaney. Attention will be given to Irish literature's relationship to the development of a transnational Irish identity. 3 credits.
