FIRE 3305 - Quantitative Analysis of Fire Phenomena

Prerequisite: FIRE 1102 or FIRE 2200. This course brings fire phenomena to the students that would otherwise need to be observed in the field at an actual fire scene, incident, and standard fire testing. Different experimental measurement techniques that are close to full-scale fire behavior research were scaled into a bench-scale fire phenomena measurement. This class will help the students understand the concept of fire spread and behavior and dynamics that students will encounter while fighting fires, investigating them and designing prevention-related solutions to the fire problems. 3 credits.
