MLSC 4432 - Clinical Practicum IV - Clinical Microbiology

Prerequisites: MLSC 3330, MLSC 3355. This component of the MLS program prepares students for practice in a clinical microbiology laboratory. It involves a rotation in the clinical laboratory at an affiliated licensed clinical laboratory hospital and is designed to enhance the student's entry level competencies. During the rotation the student will be exposed to the daily operations of the clinical microbiology laboratory under the supervision of an experienced medical laboratory scientist. 2 credits.
