BANL 2800 - Information and Analytics in the Value Chain


Prerequisites: MATH 1107  or higher, BUSA 1000 . This course will examine qualitative issues and quantitative applications in operations management and management information systems. Students will develop skills in problem identification and utilize analytical techniques to create solutions which influence management decisions. The course goal is to develop an integrative skillset to support effective employees and future leaders in a value-driven organization. Students will be expected to use information and analytics to assess a business case, develop a recommendation, create an action plan, and defend objections to their work.  4 credits.
