BIOL 3304 - Immunology

Prerequisites: BIOL 2253, CHEM 1115 , a grade of C or better in BIOL 3301. This course will focus on the human immune system and provide students with a basic understanding of how the immune system functions and responds to various circumstances. Topics will include innate immunity, adaptive immunity, autoimmunity, allergy & hypersensitivity, tolerance and cancer. In addition, clinical aspects of immunology will be discussed. 3 credits.
