BIOL 3311 - Molecular Biology

Prerequisites: BIOL 2253, BIOL 3306 or junior standing, CHEM 1115, CHEM 1117. Co-requisite: BIOL 3313 - you must enroll in a section of BIOL 3313 before you can enroll in BIOL 3311.

An in-depth discussion of nucleic acids, the flow of information from nucleic acids to protein and the control of gene activity. Laboratory emphasizes the techniques of modern molecular biology. Laboratory fee; 4 credits.
