Prerequisite or co-requisite: FINC 2213. An examination of the relationship between the financial system and the level, growth, and stability of economic activity. Emphasis will be placed on the theory, structure, and regulation of financial markets and institutions, coupled with the role of capital market yields as the mechanism that allocates savings to economic investment. 3 credits.
