ELEC 3302 - Signals and Systems Prerequisites: EASC 2230 , MATH 2204 . This course covers the fundamentals of signal and system analysis focusing on representations of continuous-time signals including singularity functions, complex exponentials, and Fourier representations, Laplace transforms and representations of linear, time-invariant systems including differential equations, block diagrams, system functions, poles and zeros, convolution, impulse and step responses, and frequency responses. Applications are drawn broadly from engineering and physics, Computer simulation using MATLAB is included. 3 credits.
