CJST 1110 - Rape Aggression Defense for Women This course provides women with skills to better avoid being sexually assaulted. Students learn basic self-defense skills, escape and avoidance tactics, offensive and defensive postures, and how to engage in defensive attacks. They also practice learned skills in simulated attacks. In addition, students learn about victim services, sexual assault laws, laws pertaining to self-defense, date rape mentality, and other forms of interpersonal violence for which college women are at risk (e.g., domestic violence, stalking). 1 credits.
