MATH 1110 - College Algebra

Prerequisite: Placement into MATH 1110 or completion of MATH 1107 or MATH 1108 with a grade of C or higher. A review of the fundamental operations and an extensive study of functions, exponents, radicals, linear and quadratic equations. Additional topics include ratio, proportion, variation, progression and the binomial theorem. This course is intended primarily for students whose program of study requires calculus or business math. 3 credits.
