FIRE 3310 - Structural Fire Protection Engineering

Prerequisites: MATH 1117 , CHEM 1115 , FIRE 2200 . This course introduces students to the field of fire resistance analyses, assessing the response of building structural assemblies to exposure to fire. Students also examine the impact of fire on buildings and the human response to fires. Methods of fire protection through design and codes are also examined. 3 credits.
