JRNL 2210 - Electronic News Gathering Reporting

Prerequisites: COMM 1102, COMM 1125. Learn and demonstrate how to gather newsworthy information using electronic means, then report stories to service the University of New Haven campus audience. You will ideate story angles, develop/establish sources, shoot video, interview, write, edit, and deliver timely video stories. Learn and demonstrate the skills of operating ENG cameras, voice-over booth, and post-production editing. Coordination with Charger Bulletin News broadcasts, social media, and online platforms. 3 credits.
