CHME 4467 - Advanced Materials

Prerequisite: EASC 2213 or CIVL 3323. In this course, we will cover polymers, ceramics, and composites in detail. Unique material characteristics for engineering applications, such as optical, electrical, magnetic, and protective properties will also be discussed. Modern specialty materials, such as biomaterials, nanomaterials, and smart materials, and their applications will be investigated. 3 credits.
