CHME 6667 - Advanced Materials

In this course, we will cover polymers, ceramics, and composites in detail. Unique material characteristics for engineering applications, such as optical, electrical, magnetic, and protective properties will also be discussed. Modern specialty materials, such as biomaterials, nanomaterials, and smart materials, and their applications will be investigated. 3 credits.
