OCTH 7205 - Doctoral Capstone Seminar I: Exploration The doctoral capstone series consists of four courses designed to assist students through the development, planning, and implementation phases of their doctoral capstone experience and project. In this first course, students are guided through an exploratory process of synthesizing their personal interests and past experiences with potential capstone opportunities. Students will conduct a needs assessment and use evidence-based literature to develop an in-depth understanding of the context of a specific problem area and its social significance. They will be challenged to integrate theory and clarify the role of occupational therapy as they draft a capstone proposal. 2 credits.
