EMGT 6606 - Economics of Disaster Students in this course will study and analyze the economics related to disasters at international, national, individual, and household levels. Disasters, as used in this course, will include climate change, hence the socioeconomic effects of global warming will also be examined. Students will conduct desk research on the direct and indirect economic losses associated with pre-identified disasters. The course will also cover the economics associated with both public and private institutions. 3 credits.
