INDE 6608 - Applied Probability and Statistical Methods

This course prepares students to leverage statistical insights for data-driven engineering solutions and build probabilistic models to make decisions based on probabilities and likelihoods. Focusing on inferential statistics, students will learn to perform hypothesis tests, correlation analysis, conduct analysis of variance (ANOVA), and build regression models. Additionally, foundational probability concepts such as random variables and distributions are introduced with practical applications. 3 credits.
