Prerequisite: a grade of C (not C-) or higher in MATH 1109 , or placement by the department. Offers the foundation needed for the study of calculus. Polynomials, algebraic functions, elementary point geometry, plane analytic trigonometry and properties of exponential functions. 3 credits
