The Marine Policy and Management program has the primary goal of preparing individuals to work in interdisciplinary areas relating to marine and coastal natural resource use and sustainability, including development and implementation of policy and management plans, strategies for effective public outreach and communication, and research to inform decision-making. The program provides students with an in-depth understanding of the complex dynamics of marine coupled human and natural systems through two concentrations: 1) Marine Resource Sustainability and 2) Marine Education and Outreach.
