A total of 39 credits (12 3-credit courses plus a 3-credit research project) must be completed to earn the master of science degree in environmental engineering. Nine courses, exclusive of the research project, must be selected from courses designated as environmental engineering. Three courses may be selected from outside the environmental engineering department. Enrollment in non-environmental engineering electives, other than those listed on the next page, requires approval of the program coordinator. Transfer credit from other institutions is permitted subject to Graduate School policy on transfer credit detailed elsewhere in this catalog. Concentration in Water Resources
