The Hospitality and Tourism Management degree without a defined concentration affords students more elective choices and therefore enables students to add a minor from within the College of Business or from other Colleges in the University if they so choose.
Students earning a B.S. degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with no concentration are required to complete 121 credits, including the University core curriculum (41 credits), Hospitality and Tourism Management major requirements (36 credits), HTMG restricted electives (9 credits), Writing Across the Curriculum elective (3 credits), fieldwork (2 credits), service requirement (1 credit), internship (3 credits) and free electives (26 credits).

University Core Curriculum (41 credits)
Hospitality and Tourism Management majors may complete the 41-credit University Core Curriculum with the following restrictions: Majors are not restricted in the way that the Writing Across the Curriculum requirement is satisfied but are encouraged to take a WAC-coded section of BUSA 1000 Introduction to Business and Entrepreneurship. General Concentration (9 credits)
- Restricted electives: 9 credits of electives restricted to Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTMG courses)
