Program Outcomes

  1. Students will demonstrate improved competency across the 11 core competencies of health care administration on the Peregrine Healthcare Administration Competency Exam with a higher Outbound Exam score versus Inbound Exam.
  2. Students will demonstrate competence in understanding health systems and organizations.
  3. Students will demonstrate competence in understanding organizational climate and culture.
  4. Students will demonstrate competence in healthcare information technology.
  5. Students will demonstrate competence in healthcare financial management.
  6. Students will demonstrate competence in health law and policy.
  7. Students will demonstrate competence in personal and professional accountability.
  8. Students will demonstrate competence in data analysis.
  9. Students will demonstrate competence in communication and relationship management.
  10. Students will demonstrate competence in critical thinking and decision making.
  11. Students will demonstrate competence in leadership skills and behavior.

 

A total of 36 graduate credits is required for completion of the master of healthcare administration. The program consists of eleven required courses (33 credits) plus one restricted elective (3 credits).
