All students earning a bachelor's degree in global studies must complete the University Core Curriculum as part of the 121 credits required for the degree.
Program Outcomes
1. Students will have knowledge of the major cultural systems of the globe, including in-depth knowledge of at least one culture and geographic region outside their own; knowledge of the importance of cultural diversity in a global community.
2. Students will have knowledge of the interconnectedness of the world's political, economic, and environmental systems.
3. Students will have the skills to identify and evaluate international and cultural issues from multiple perspectives.
4. Students will have the skills to communicate and interact productively with peoples from other cultures, backgrounds, and countries; basic skills in at least one foreign language.
5. Students will have the experience(s) of cultures and/or trans-national issues beyond their local environment.
