General Psychology Minor

Requirements for Minors
- At least 50% of the minor courses must be unduplicated, i.e., not used to simultaneously satisfy credit requirements of the major, core curriculum, or additional minors.
- At least 50% of the minor courses must be completed in residence at UNH.
- A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required in the minor (programs may set higher requirements).
- A student may not declare a major and minor in the same program.
Psychology, perhaps more than any other subject, relates closely to many other disciplines. A minor in psychology prepares you for graduate study in the field and can add another dimension to your studies in other programs at the University. A total of six courses is required for a minor in psychology.

Plus 15 credits of psychology electives with the exception of the following courses which will not satisfy the General Psychology minor: PSYC 3345 /CJST 3345 (Police and Investigative Psychology), PSYC 3357 /CJST 3357 (Legal Psychology), PSYC 3365 /CJST 3365 (Law, Psychology, and the Mental Health System),PSYC 4475 /CJST 4475 (Senior Seminar in Psychology and Law).
