Requirements for Minors
- At least 50% of the minor courses must be unduplicated, i.e., not used to simultaneously satisfy credit requirements of the major, core curriculum, or additional minors.
- At least 50% of the minor courses must be completed in residence at UNH.
- A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required in the minor (programs may set higher requirements).
- A student may not declare a major and minor in the same program.
Students enrolled in bachelor degree programs at the University of New Haven may opt to take a minor in systems engineering by completing 18 credits. Curriculum covers current topics in systems engineering including system concepts, system thinking, system design, reliability, maintainability, design for manufacture and assembly, and quality program concepts, such as Six Sigma. The minor also strengthens knowledge in probability, statistics, and dealing with uncertainty and decision making in the design process. All course prerequisites must be met.
